The instrumental Greek outfit, TUBER comes to shake the underground scene with their second long run release and their extraordinary Post Rock, Stoner Rock crossover. Riffs, thickness but also melody in a surprisingly straightforward yet inspired comeback. Not strictly confined within the Desert Rock boundaries but respectfully utilizing as many Desert Rock influences possible, “Desert Overcrowded” travels the listener from a solitary, stress free panorama, to a frantic Holywood car chase…and the journey seems to flow leisurely. Their debut EP was an unexpectedly fabulous maisterwerk(!) but with “Desert Overcrowded” they join the major league. Keep an eye open for them ’cause they are one of the most interesting things crawling in the underground at the moment.
